In communities across the country, efforts are underway to help address concerns about transportation, air quality, and climate change. Many communities have included education and outreach among their means of reducing vehicle emissions, meeting air quality standards, and maintaining a healthy environment. The Outreach and Education on Air Quality, Climate Change, and Transportation: Youth Initiatives report describes some successful outreach efforts around the country that focus particularly on involving youth in their activities.
