The First National Defensive Driving and Road Conference took place in Bogotá (Colombia) on April 6, 2011. This event was attended by more than two hundred representatives of ninety-seven national and multinational companies from various economic sectors, and the main government institutions, which include the Secretary of Transportation, National Traffic and Transport Police and the Direction of the Road Protection Fund Corporation, and the International Chair of the National Safety Council (Itasca - Illinois), Mr. Roger H.
