The U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives
Appropriations Committees will soon take up their annual Labor-HHS-Education
appropriations bill which funds the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health (NIOSH). With the President’s
proposed budget calling for the elimination of NIOSH’s Education and Research
Centers and Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing program, it is important that
lawmakers hear from their constituents in support of adequate, stable funding
for our nation’s workplace safety agencies.
Please take a minute to visit the NSC constituent advocacy website
send a customizable letter to your lawmakers requesting that they fund OSHA and
NIOSH programs at adequate, stable levels.
The process takes less than three minutes to complete.
