Orlando, FL – The National Safety Council has successfully concluded the first-ever Executive Leadership Workshop which brought together top leaders in environmental, health and safety (EHS) management as part of its Annual Congress & Expo.
Influential CEOs and executives, including Robert W. Campbell Award Winners, have led a series of discussions and technical sessions to engage business leaders and discuss solutions for EHS business operations.
The workshop ended with in a four-hour session to begin creating a document that will capture the lessons learned and solutions discussed at Congress.
“Leadership is a critical success factor for health and safety issues in the workplace,” said National Safety Council President and CEO Janet Froetscher. “Who better to lead our first Executive Leadership Workshop than a panel of industry experts who have successful safety systems in place?”
The workshop was put together by a team of industry experts who work together year-round exploring best practices for EHS management, including representatives from: Caterpillar, DynMcDermott, Exxon Mobil, General Motors, Intel, Syntex Management Systems, Toyota North America and the National Safety Council.
