Owens Corning recently implemented a global cell phone policy for its employees. Effective March 31, Owens Corning employees must refrain from using cell phones to conduct company business while driving. This policy prohibits all cell phone use including hands-free since research shows there is no safety benefit with a hands-free device. NSC has supported Owens Corning throughout the implementation process and applauds them for taking this action.
