Green Cross Award: Safety Advocate

  • ​This award is given to an individual who has made a significant impact on a safety issue through his or her work using evidence-based data to raise awareness and prevent injuries and deaths.  Area of focus may include home, community, workplace, transportation or any combination.

    Examples of individuals eligible for this award include: 

    • Legislators
    • Researchers
    • Writers
    • Community leaders
    • Private or family foundations with a focus on safety
    • Individual employees

     

    Eligibility:

    Nominees must demonstrate the value and impact of the safety solution. Additional information regarding the transferability of the safety solution, if pertinent, is preferred. Nominations can be submitted for recognition of others or for self-identified achievements. No applications will be accepted after Jan. 15, 2016.
