This award recognizes a corporation, coalition or organization that is unrelenting in its pursuit of safety. The entity created and implemented a life-saving and/or injury preventing safety solution. Results must demonstrate benefit to a greater good, beyond themselves. Area of focus may include home, community, workplace, transportation or any combination.
Examples of initiatives that could be included in this category include:
- Public/private community partnerships that identified and implemented a safety solution
- Research projects that identified new data and used that information to enact a solution
- Partnerships: business-to-community, industry-specific, business-to-business
Nominees must demonstrate the value and impact of the safety solution. Additional information regarding the transferability of the safety solution, if pertinent, is preferred. Nominations can be submitted for recognition of others or for self-identified achievements. No applications will be accepted after Jan. 15, 2016.
