This award recognizes a corporation, coalition, organization or individual that has forged a new path and achieved success by approaching a long-held safety challenge with a fresh look or new idea. The approach should be evidence-based, with results impacting themselves or others. Area of focus may include home, community, workplace, transportation or any combination.
Examples of entities eligible for this award include:
- College or university
- Employee group
- Community group or leaders
- Individual advocates
- Occupational safety and health professionals
Nominees must demonstrate the value and impact of the safety solution. Additional information regarding the transferability of the safety solution, if pertinent, is preferred. Nominations can be submitted for recognition of others or for self-identified achievements. No applications will be accepted after Jan. 15, 2016.
