Alive at 25® product family
Traffic crashes are the #1 cause of death for people between the ages of 16 and 24, accounting for 38% of all teen deaths in the United States.
It's time for a change in focus
Driver education programs play an important role in preparing teens to drive, but the National Safety Council believes driver education is just the beginning of developing safe driving skills. That’s why we’ve created the Alive at 25® family of teen-driver focused programs.
Defensive Driving Course - Alive at 25®
This innovative, young-driver intervention program bridges the gap between what teens learn in drivers’ ed and what behaviors and skills they need to become responsible, crash-free drivers. Teens not only learn to regulate their driving behavior, but also deal with the actual issues that can influence their driving behavior.
Alive at 25® Parent Program
The first of its kind, this three-hour course gets parents more involved in their teen’s learning to drive process. Parents learn tools and communication techniques to reinforce basic driving and good decision-making skills; and most importantly, create an effective Parent/Teen Driver Contract to manage their teen’s driving experience.
