Green Vehicle Guide is a new consumer-oriented Web page designed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which rates new vehicles according to their emissions and fuel economy performance.
National 4-H Council's Youth-Corporate Connections Team has developed a curriculum, Going Places, Making Choices, that focuses on raising the awareness of high school age youth about transportation and personal mobility choices now and in the future. It challenges youth to understand the interdependency between economic, environmental, societal, and political concerns through five units that cover: the history of transportation, natural resources and energy use, global climate change, land use, and personal choices and actions.
