is made up of two separate groups:
A resource for safety and health professionals at colleges and universities worldwide,
they focus on the unique safety concerns of the campus environment.
This group includes safety and health curriculum professors and their students. The mission of this
group is to support and promote safety and health through educational programs and curriculum and
research developed and executed by volunteers from relevant professional disciplines and their students.
Membership and involvement within this group is a solid opportunity for professional and academic growth.
The National Safety
Council (NSC) through its College and University Strategic Advisory Group -
Education & Research committee offers Graduate and Undergraduate (junior or
senior year) students pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety & Health the
opportunity to submit an application to participate in the Student Ambassador
Award Program to attend the annual NSC Congress & Expo.
Each year, a Student Ambassador recipient is chosen to represent the
NSC College and University Strategic Advisory Group's Education and Research
committee and the NSC Construction Division.
