The winter meeting was held Februrary 13 & 14, 2013 in Arlington, VA. Our meeting sponsor was the Association of Union Contractors - National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. who has graciously offered their facility for our meeting. This year, our meeting incorporated a Capitol Hill Day, where attendees met with their elected officials' staffs to discuss the Council's workplace safety advocacy priorities.
The spring Construction Division meeting was held in New Orleans at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center on May 11, 2012 with a Welcome Reception held the evening of May 10th.

The Construction Division's 2011 DSSA recipient, David F. Matthes, CSP, CSHM, Corporate Safety Director, J.F. White Contracting Company Inc., was chosen as the 2011 DSSA award recipient representing the Construction Division. David was awarded during the Opening Session of the 2011 NSC Congress and Expo that was held on Monday, October 31, 2011 in Philadelphia, PA.
The Construction Division announced that Brian H. Murphy was selected as the 2011 HLA award recipient representing the Construction Division. The HLA award recognizes those division members who have made significant, meaningful contributions to safety, health or the environment and who can no longer serve in a fully active capacity.
The Spring 2011 Meeting was held April 17-18, 2011 in New Orleans, LA at the Embassy Suites Convention Center Hotel. This year's agenda included a Welcome/Professional Networking Reception and a full day of professional development sessions on the following Monday, April 18th.
