Lt. General Russel L. Honoré
USA (Ret.)


​Lt. General Russel Honor​é draws on 37 years of military experience. In 2005, he served as the Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina to relieve a battered New Orleans by taking control of military relief efforts.
His experience directing military operations gives him rare insight into the "New Normal" an era whree businesses, policymakers and the citizenry must lead the way in creating a "Culture of Preparedness" that is equipped to safeguard our economy and natural resouces.
He is a senior scientist with Gallup, Emory University adjunct professor, and independent director of Crawford & Co., the world's largest independent claims managament company and was appointed chairman of the board for La Bicentennial Commission. Also a board member with the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, he is the author of "Survival: How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family from Disasters" and the new book "Leadership in the New Normal,"details how to be an effective leader in the 21st century.




Francesca Dellelci
Corporate Communications Specialist

​Francesca Dellelci is a corporate communications specialist at DuPont, based in Wilmington, Delaware. She joined the company in 2011.

In her current role, Dellelci provides internal and external communications support for the global Safety,
Health and Environment (SHE) function. She began her current assignment in September 2013. Previously, Dellelci served as the communications lead for a strategic change initiative, and managed a global communications network.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She lives in New Jersey with her family.







Walter Glenn
Ponchartrain Plant Manager




​Walter Glenn graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering. He held numerous positions at the LaPorte, TX site; maintenance team leader, process supervisor and unit operations leader.

He transferred to Wilmington, DE to become an engineering field section supervisor and from there became an area manager at the Old Hickory, TN facility.

While at Old Hickory, Glenn obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and was appointed manufacturing manager for the “Sontara” business unit. He moved back to Delaware as an operations manager/compliance officer.
He held a plant manager position at the Spruance DTF plant in Richmond, VA. Glenn was later named plant manager of the Pontchartrain site in LaPlace, LA and most recently elected as the chairman of the board of for the Louisiana Chemical Association.





Ann K. Masse, Ph.D.
Global SHE Leader -Business and Strategy
​​Ann Masse is the Global Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) leader – Business and Strategy at DuPont. She joined DuPont in 1991 as an environmental program manager at the DuPont Niagara Falls facility.
Masse has held several SHE operations leadership positions in New York, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Delaware. In 2006. she began a global assignment leading SHE and Product Stewardship for several businesses in DuPont. While in this role, Ann was awarded a DuPont Engineering Excellence Award. She was appointed to her current position in March 2013.
Masse is responsible for strategic planning for DuPont safety, health and environment (SHE), and leads the organization that provides business SHE support across the company. In addition, Masse is developing a supply chain resilience SHE competency and standardizing SHE processes across businesses.



Susan Sotiropoulous, President
North America Region
DuPont Sustanaible Solutions


Susan Sotiropoulos is president of the DuPont Sustainable Solutions consulting business in the United States and Canada. She joined DuPont in 1990 as a manufacturing manager in Dacron polyester fibers.

Sotiropoulos has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, and marketing. She was previously stationed in Shanghai, China, where she established the strategic marketing function in Asia for the DuPont’s Chemicals and Fluoroproducts business. Susan was appointed to her current position in July 2012.
Sotiropoulos attended the University of Cincinnati, earning a
BS in electrical engineering, and attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, earning an MBA. She currently resides in West Chester, PA with her husband and two children.
Erin Welken
Operation Project Manager
John Deere

​Erin graduated from North Dakota State University with degrees in Athletic Training, and Zoology with Pre-med emphasis along with minors in biology and chemistry.  Following graduation she worked at Valley City State University as an athletic trainer, and also with Tailored Injury Prevention Solutions as an injury prevention and rehabilitation specialist. 

 In 2007 she started working for John Deere as a safety coordinator.  Welken currently manages the EHS functions at the Valley City, ND factory along with ergonomics, business continuity planning, emergency response team, and 5S coordination. 

She has been active on many initiatives within John Deere including VPP implementation in Valley City, coaching with other John Deere facilities, participating on steering committees, and actively participating in wellness and off-the-job programs.

Joseph White
Senior Consultant
DuPont Sustainable Solutions
Joseph White is a senior consultant with DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS). He has 23 years of operational safety experience, 16 of which have been with DuPont.
White worked at the Spruance plant, which is DuPont’s largest manufacturing site employing approximately 2,400 full-service team members and another 1,200 variable-service team members. Over the last 14 years, he has pursued a course of independent research to better understand the cognitive and affective domains of human intellect, as it specifically relates to perceived risks and rewards.
In his current role, White serves as the North American implementation manager and subject matter expert for the DuPont iNtegrated Approach (DnA) for Safety, a holistic portfolio of offerings integrating research from the behavioral, cognitive, and social sciences.

White resides in Richmond, VA.
