The National Safety Council Community Advancement Award, presented each year during NSC Congress & Expo, recognizes employers who show a commitment to safety for their employees, families and the communities in which they operate by providing exemplary off-the-job safety and health programs.
Individual site locations are eligible for this award. Applicants are scored on:
- Organizational commitment to health and safety
- Employee and employee family health and safety programs on and off the job
- Community engagement around safety and health
