  • What is the Transportation Safety Division?

    ​​The Transportation Division is comprised of industry professionals dedicated to identifying motor transportation safety needs and developing innovative solutions. These professionals share their knowledge and work to develop safety policies.

    The Transportation Safety Division is divided into four sections: Highway traffic safety, school transportation, transit and commercial/fleet and motor vehicle​.

    Transportation Safety Division Spring Meeting

    The NSC Spring Divisions combined meeting will take place in San Diego May 23 and 24 at the Loews Coronado Bay Hotel. The NSC Transportation Division will hold its individual meetings at the hotel in the afternoon both days.

    My Car Does What? is a national campaign to educate drivers on new vehicle safety technologies designed to help prevent crashes. The goal of this campaign is to explain to drivers how best to use these safety technologies, leading to safer driving. Follow MyCarDoesWhat on Facebook and Twitter.

The 2017 NSC Spring Meetings May 23 and 24 at Loews Coronado Bay in San Diego will include individual division meetings, networking, social events and technical sessions.

Registration is $250. (Green Cross for Safety awards gala and professional development seminar are not included.)

Transportation Division At 2015 NSC Congress & Expo 

The Transportation Safety Division welcomed new members, who also serve in the Young Professional Division, and listened to Ron Flegel of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) on the subject of federally regulated workplace drug policy.
