    2015 Young Professionals Spring Meeting

A group of motivated Young Professionals came together to learn, network and enjoy some much-needed sun and warm weather at the 2015 Young Professionals Division spring meeting Feb. 17 and 18 at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. National Safety Council President and CEO Debbie Hersman and other members of the NSC Executive Board also attended the meeting.

The conference kicked off with a keynote address by Dr. Aubrey Daniels, chairman and founder of Aubrey Daniels International and an expert in management, leadership and safety. Highlights included presentations by Francesca Dellelci and David Stockard of DuPont Sustainable Solutions, who each spoke about dynamic leadership.

Along with several group work sessions to help chart the course of the Division, members attended one of three different technical tours. Attendees had the option of visiting Intel, Ping (tour given by Young Professionals member Melissa Schmaltz) or Luke Air Force Base (tour led by Young Professionals member Josh Franklin, SMSgt, USAF).

It was a productive meeting filled with new connections, fresh ideas and excitement over the future of the Young Professionals Division.
