Daycare providers in New York are required to have first aid training to ensure the well-being of children in their care. NSC Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED training offers the skills needed to respond to everything from minor bumps and bruises to life-threatening emergencies. And, NSC is the only nationally recognized first aid training program to meet OSHA regulations. Participants will learn how to:
- Take action in a medical emergency
- Provide basic life support
- Treat bleeding and perform wound care
- Treat shock, burns and poisoning
- Deal with a sudden illness
- Respond to a choking situation
- Respond in cold and heat emergencies
- Ensure safety for children with disabilities
Available in Class or Online
NSC Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED training is available in a classroom format or in a convenient 4.5-hour online format. You choose what is best for you and your staff.
Upon successful completion of the online course, you will need to complete a skills test with an NSC approved Training Center to receive your course completion cards.
Cost for the online course is $19.95; the classroom course is $60.
