Becky Turpin served as the adult injury prevention coordinator at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics for three years. She was responsible for developing the new Adult Injury Prevention Program, including grant writing, priority setting, research and community outreach.
She previously worked as the injury prevention coordinator at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, and a master's degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She serves as secretary of the Safe States Alliance, of which she has been a proud and active member for the entire 11 years of her injury prevention career.
