  • ​The National Safety Council prides itself on the quality of its research and statistics. Since the early 1920s, the Council has published an annual statistical compendium on unintentional injuries and deaths, originally titled Accident Facts®, and more recently Injury Facts®.

    The NSC Research & Statistical Services Group also manages the international, peer-reviewed Journal of Safety Research, which is published four times a year. The Journal of Safety Research, along with Injury Facts, are leading worldwide publications that have been cited extensively by safety researchers and statisticians.
