Meet the 2015 Rising Stars of Safety

  • The National Safety Council has announced its sixth class of NSC Rising Stars of Safety. The 40 honorees have promoted continuous improvement within their organizations and created initiatives focused on measureable outcomes - key components of the Council's Journey to Safety Excellence.
     
    "Dedicated employees are the key to making our workplaces safer," said NSC President and CEO Deborah Hersman. "These young professionals embody the safety culture that ensures employees go home safely to their families every night."
     
    The honorees for the Class of 2015 are featured in the September issue of Safety+Health Magazine. They also will be formally recognized during the 2015 NSC Congress & Expo in Atlanta Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
     

    What is the Rising Stars of Safety Program?

     
     
    The Rising Stars of Safety is an elite group of young safety professionals from a variety of professional backgrounds who have been established among their peers as the next generation in safety culture and leadership.
     

    The Rising Stars program showcases up-and-coming safety professionals younger than 40 who have a track record of demonstrating leadership, innovation and involvement in their organization’s safety culture while promoting continuous safety improvement in the workplace.
