GROWMARK
GROWMARK's Director of Safety and Insurance Services Mike Smith enthusiastically
supports the project, saying, "This new facility represents the most important accomplishment
so far of Nationwide and GROWMARK's partnership on safety and loss control for the
GROWMARK system's member cooperatives. It will further enhance our ability to provide
both classroom and hands-on training for our people. It should result in safer,
better trained employees for our members and, consequently, fewer accidents and
losses, a better image in our communities, and lower insurance cost."

Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company
Nationwide Agribusiness were pleased to donate funds to the enhancement of The National
Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS) because we recognize the unique
agriculture focus of the NECAS training facility. Our companies believe a safe workplace
is essential to the success of the businesses we serve. In fact, nearly one-in seven
of our full-time associates work in a loss control capacity. As such, it makes good
sense to partner with NECAS professionals who share our dedication to protecting
the lives and properties of farmers and agribusinesses.

Heartland Ambulance
Heartland EMS has donated one of our ambulances to Northeast Iowa Community College
and NECAS for use in their EMS/rescue training programs. We believe that the cornerstone
of a pre-hospital care provider(EMT-B, EMT-I or Paramedic) is how he/she is trained.
Realistic hands-on-training is imperative for preparing a student for a real emergency.
Having an ambulance available for training will give students an opportunity to
feel and sense how it is actually like to work on someone in the back of an ambulance
during simulated scenarios rather than simply talking about it in a classroom setting.
Dubuque Racing Association

funds available for distribution at the end of the fiscal year are returned to the
City of Dubuque, 25% are distributed through the DRA Grant Award Program, and the
remaining 25% stays with Association for capital improvements.
The DRA has a history of giving, awarding over $14 million to charitable organizations,
like the National Education for Agricultural Safety. Since 1996, NECAS has receive
more than $50,000 to fund safety-training programs, create marketing materials,
purchase valuable rescue tools and other safety equipment.
The Dubuque Racing Association is proud to support NECAS in their effort to make
