National Safety Council's 2009 Congress & Exposition Research Poster Award Program


In order to encourage new safety research and its adoption into real-world situations, the National Safety Council (NSC) through it’s College & University Initiative: Education & Research Advisory Committee invites occupational safety students and professionals to participate in the Research Poster Award Program sponsored by the Campbell Institute for NSC’s annual Congress & Expo to be held in Orlando, Florida October 26-28, 2009 at the Orlando Convention Center.

Those individuals interested in occupational safety and health and who would benefit from participation in the event are encouraged to apply.

NSC Platform Issues

Special invitation to those working on research that applies to NSC’s Platform Issues. An NSC Platform Issue is a leading or emerging cause of unintentional injury or death that is now, or is projected to have, a profound societal impact. NSC’s strategic intent is injury prevention through safety & education, training and advocacy with a special focus on our current Platform Issues.
