Itasca, IL – The National Safety Council (NSC) announced today that 92 companies have been awarded the NSC 2004 Industry Leader Awards for achieving the best safety performance in their industries. Industry categories for the awards are based on the Standard Industrial Classification code system. The Industry Leader Awards are one component of the NSC's Occupational Award Program, which recognizes outstanding safety achievements of NSC members. The companies honored are among the top member participants in the NSC awards program.
