Course Description:
Did you know that more than 2,000 people are treated each year for severe arc flash injuries? And, that the average medical costs for an arc flash victim run at a shocking $1.5 million? Plus, there’s litigation, where the average cost ranges from $10 to $15 million. Despite the human and financial impact, many safety professionals are unclear about the OSHA rules relating to electrical safety: NFPA 70E standard. In this Webinar, a seasoned safety expert will equip you with the knowledge needed to protect your employees from electrical hazards-and stay in compliance.
Webinar attendees will learn:

• Most misunderstood requirements of NFPA 70E
• How to assess your arc flash and shock hazard levels
• Key changes in the 2012 version
• How to use the NFPA 70E tables to source the right PPE and insulated tools
