DITTE Sam Houston State University’s Impaired Driving Initiatives (IDI) Office is offering a staff-development tool (a 6-hour training program) to aid your employees in identifying an impaired employee in the workplace. DITTE is funded through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) which means the training is at no cost. The primary goal of the 6-hour Drug Impairment Training for Texas Employers (DITTE) program is to work with Texas employers, with the support of the National Safety Council – Texas, to educate their employees on traffic safety, specifically driving impairment, and to reduce the number of fatalities and injuries on Texas highways.
