The leading cause of death for teens is motor vehicle crashes. Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) slowly introduces novice drivers to higher-risk driving conditions. Even if states don't have GDL legislation, parents can make GDL practices the law of the home. More information on GDL can be found below.
