Traffic crashes are the leading cause of teen fatalities. Chances are, your community has been struck by a tragic crash involving a teenage friend, classmate or family member. The National Safety Council is trailblazing new ground to confront this crisis on a national level.
We’re on a mission to:
- Improve state Graduated Driver Licensing laws.
- Inform parents, teens and communities that they can beat the odds.
The National Safety Council and its local chapters periodically hold parent workshops to introduce teen driver safety programs to the community. If you are interested in attending a workshop in your area, please send us an e-mail at support@nsc.org with your name, address and phone number or call 800-621-7619. A representative from the NSC chapter in your area will contact you.
Join a Safe Community, an initiative of the National Safety Council, to reduce the impact of crashes in your area.
If you’re a teacher, driving school instructor, administrator, police or public safety officer – or a concerned parent – you can help the young drivers in your community beat the odds. Become an Alive at 25® or an Alive at 25® Parent Program instructor and we’ll help you!
