London – The International Lead Association has released free guidance materials on managing and minimizing the risks of workplace lead exposure.

At press time, three guides were available for download:

• General information for managers and workers (.pdf file)
• Design of changing rooms and washing facilities (.pdf file)
• Effluent control and monitoring (.pdf file)

ILA also published a list of 10 Golden Rules for managers and workers that summarize good workplace practices. Additional guidance materials covering control and monitoring and community care and outreach will be released in the future, ILA said.
