​This roll-up lead screw protection device, designed for lathes, protects the operator from coming into contact with moving parts of the lathe, and keeps the operator’s clothes from becoming entangled in the machine. Two self-rolling and unrolling units consist of a tear- and oil-resistant band attached to brackets that secure to and travel with the lathe carriage.
