NSC Presents 2021 CEOs Who 'Get It'

Safety+Health Magazine profiles leaders with demonstrated track record of prioritizing safety.

Itasca, IL – The National Safety Council is proud to announce the 2021 CEOs Who “Get It” – an annual recognition presented to safety leaders who go the extra mile to protect employees both on and off the job. The honorees are recognized in the January edition of Safety+Health magazine.

The 2021 CEOs Who “Get It” have built his or her organization’s safety strategy using four key components: risk reduction, performance measurement, safety management solutions, and leadership and employee engagement.

This year’s recipients are:

  • John E. Eschenberg, president and CEO, Washington River Protection Solutions

  • Stephen Sandherr, CEO, The Associated General Contractors of America 
  • Mark Vergnano, president and CEO, The Chemours Company
