Kurt Krueger is a certified industrial hygienist with more than 40 years of experience developing and implementing effective health and safety programs. He is now retired. As a principal consultant with ORCHSE, he supported members in establishing effective health and safety programs through several networks.
The first 19 years of his career were with International Technology Corporation, where his responsibilities included regional EHS leader, operations manager for hazardous substance spill response services, operations and general manager for a major regional environmental services division, and corporate director of health and safety. During the following 20 years he was responsible for leading development and implementation of global health and safety programs for the General Electric Company. At GE, he addressed high risk work activities with high severity potential and improved how the company managed human risk.

Mr. Krueger received his bachelor of arts in biology and a master of science in environmental and occupational health and safety from California State University, Northridge, as well as a master of business administration from Pepperdine University. He is certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
