NSC is helping to keep roadway users safe.

NSC Mobility Safety programs provide free resources and training for community members so we can all help make the trip to and from work and home safer.

● Learn how to easily check for and repair open vehicle safety recalls
● Access resources to teach new teen and novice drivers how to drive safely
● Learn about protection for passengers of all ages, particularly our youngest passengers through correct use of car seats, booster seats and seat belts
● Learn how quickly vehicles become hot and why this is especially dangerous for children

Check for Open Vehicle Safety Recalls

Fifty million vehicles on the road have open safety recalls, including dangerous air bag recalls. Visit Check To Protect to find out if your vehicle is one of them. You will also find many other free resources, such as ready-made social media posts, one-pagers, FAQs and much more.  Remember, it is free to check for vehicle safety recalls and free to repair at an authorized dealership.

Parent Resources to Train New Teen Drivers

Car crashes are the No. 1 cause of preventable death for teens. Fortunately, as parents and caregivers, there is something we can do. Visit DriveitHOME to sign up for weekly Pointers for Parents lessons, sign the New Driver Deal, and download the free app to track practice driving hours and more.

Traffic Safety for Employers and Employees

Our Driving Concern is a traffic safety program for employers to promote safe driving practices among employees, both on and off the job. Traffic-safety education in the workplace can save money - and save lives. Free resources include Safety Huddles, supervisor coaching tools, monthly newsletters and e-learning. 

Clearing the Confusion Around Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies

Most cars on the road today have safety technologies that help reduce the risk of crashes. One Location for Child Passenger Safety Resources for Caregivers and Employers

Motor vehicle crashes remain a leading cause of injury and death to children. With many online resources available on safely transporting loved ones, finding reliable and relevant information can be overwhelming. Safety Connection is a one-stop location for anything related to child passenger safety. Users can access expert resources nationwide, locate manufacturer information for their vehicles or car seats, look up car seat and vehicle recalls, schedule a one-on-one car seat check with a nationally certified child passenger safety technician and more. All resources are free, peer-reviewed and evidence-based.
