It is illegal to operate a vehicle with a suspended license.
If found driving on a suspended license, you could face fines, impoundment of your vehicle, imprisonment or permanent loss of driving privileges.
The MA Registry of Motor Vehicles has suspended your driver’s license due to accumulated surchargeable events. The MA RMV can reinstate your license if you complete ALL classroom training requirements listed on your letter and comply with all other RMV requirements.
Commonwealth of MA Driver Retraining Program
This course, presented by the National Safety Council in cooperation with the Registry of Motor Vehicles, is aimed at changing behavior behind the wheel. Through this course, drivers learn why they continue to have driving related problems and how they can take responsibility for their actions.
Once you complete the class, NSC will electronically transmit your completion to the MA RMV. This process takes four business days. You may check your license status at any time by accessing your profile at Mass.gov/RMV.
