Defensive Driving Online Training Courses
National Safety Council now offers four online training options tailored to fit
your budget and your employees' schedule. Based on their classroom counterparts,
these online programs use state-of-the-art animation, video, narration, and interactive
screens to teach your employees defensive driving techniques.
Since its introduction in 2000, DDC Online has trained more than 1.2 million drivers
defensive driving techniques. Newly updated information and technology make it the
most up-to-date Internet defensive driving curriculum with consistent quality and
content nationwide.
Based on the classroom Alive at 25 Parent Program, this highly interactive 2-hour online
course is designed for parents of teenagers who will be getting their driver's license.
Parents will be able to identify the risks their teens face and help reinforce basic
driving and good decision making skills to help teens become safe, responsible, and
defensive drivers.
Developed in partnership with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, this interactive,
online program is intended for motorcyclists who participate in traffic violator
schools. This program is now being offered to traffic courts and traffic schools
to educate riders who receive moving violations.
Riders can learn techniques and decision-making strategies for minimizing risk,
as well as attitudinal information and crash avoidance measures that they may not
be exposed to otherwise. This two-hour program for riders is not a substitute for
the MSF Basic RiderCourse or any other MSF course.
Teaches professional truck and fleet drivers defensive driving techniques that help
them avoid collisions and violations.
Offers valuable information ambulance operators need to navigate safely through
traffic under pressure and time constraints.
