Welcome to the First Aid Instructor Resource Center

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

We have rolled out an updated navigation tool to our website.  You now need to click on the carrot (>) in order to access the drop-down menu that displays below the "green" bar.  If there is no carrot next to the category, then there are no other pages.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

As an NSC First Aid instructor, you not only get training materials, you also gain 24/7 access to administrative resources, product updates, a monthly newsletter and more.

NSC training focuses on hands-on practice and repetition, building more self-confidence so your students can perform well during an emergency.

No instructor restrictions - teach courses from other providers as well as NSC - get grandfathered in if you are authorized to teach first aid and CPR by another provider.

We have created a new online grandfathering application. This interactive tool will allow new instructors, who are qualified to grandfather in, the ability to submit their application and credentials through an online form. Please click on the following link: https://www.nsc.org/forms/NSC_First_Aid_Instructor.aspx

Please click on the following link to learn more about - How to Become an Instructor

If you are already an authorized First Aid Instructor and have registered on nsc.org, you will not have to register again. You may, however, have to update your profile with your instructor number in order to access the restricted instructor pages.

If you have not already registered on the home page, you will need to register to access the new instructor restricted website pages. Scroll to the top of the home page and click on the "sign in" button at the top right hand corner of the page.

The National Safety Council developed this website to provide you with all the information and tools you need to fill this essential role.  If you have any suggestions to improve our programs and/or our website, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We have set up 3 email sites for you to ask specific questions:
