(A review of October 2021 – September 2022)
NSC wants to have a firm understanding of how COVID-19 workplace safety practices and policies are being applied. To gather the information, we conducted surveys, interviews and group discussions with representatives of both businesses and labor unions as well as workers. Then we used this knowledge to provide advice organizations can use to implement future pandemic-related employer actions. This report provides:
Key findings on worker health, wellbeing and workplace safety, control measures, vaccine uptake and hesitancy, and employer vaccine policies.
Recommendations on what organizations should do to help keep employees and workplaces safe including implementing vaccination requirements, addressing emerging issues like mental health, burnout, fatigue, hybrid work and more.
