Our Mission is Safety
The National Safety Council eliminates preventable deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy.
Have questions? Visit our FAQs or contact NSC.
In just a few easy steps, you will be on your way to becoming a Safety Ambassador. Once you register, you will receive regular updates.
Below are eligible Safety Ambassador activities. Choose one of the listed activities, download the attached materials and, once complete, report back to us. In order to receive your certificate and pin, you may need to document your activity in some way, such as taking a photo of your event or presentation.
Before choosing an activity, think about what you would be most comfortable doing and where your strengths lie. Do you like talking in front of people? Give a presentation to a club, senior group or community organization using one of our presentations. Do you like writing and feel passionate about safety? Write a letter to your legislator. Like working on your computer? Share some safety posts on social media. No matter what you are passionate about, we have something for you.
Fill out this form to tell us about yourself and the activity you completed. Provide a photo or support documentation, give us a description of the activity, including location and how many people you reached.
Once we hear from you and your activity is approved, we'll send your Certificate and pin in the mail. Continue to check back with NSC for updates on activities.
