The NSC Safety Maturity and Approach Profile (Safety MAAP) is a free tool that helps organizations identify where they are on their safety journey and offers next steps to improve safety.
1. Log in to your NSC account. If you don’t have one already, you’ll need to create one:
● Create a profile for your organization
● Complete the fields on the Create Your New Profile page and select Register
● Check your email, confirm your email address and then select Activate Account in your email; the link expires in seven days
2. Complete the Safety MAAP and receive your action plan
Based on your answers to the Safety MAAP, you’ll discover your safety strengths and opportunities. You also will receive recommendations on resources your organization can use to:
● Train employees with the latest safety practices
● Build your safety knowledge and skills
● Connect with safety experts and peers so you can stay ahead of emerging safety challenges
The Safety MAAP helps you better understand where you are in your safety journey so you can take actions where necessary. That keeps your employees safe and helps protect your organization from costly fines that can arise from lawsuits or government fines.
