ITASCA, Ill. – The National Safety Council announced Thursday the finalists for the 2022 Green Cross for Safety® awards, presented annually to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated leadership in keeping people safe on and off the job.
“This year’s Green Cross for Safety award finalists value safety each and every day,” said Lorraine Martin, president and CEO of the National Safety Council. “We are proud to recognize these teams for putting safety first so everyone can live their fullest lives. Finalists for the 2022 Green Cross for Safety awards are:
Safety Advocate, sponsored by First Transit | First Student – recognizes those who have made a significant impact on safety by raising awareness and bringing about change

The winner of each category will be announced at the 2022 Green Cross Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The event raises critical funds to support programs providing education, resources and tools to help individuals and employers keep people safe at work, on the road and everywhere in between.
