The National Safety Council showcases outstanding advances in safety through its annual award programs. Established in 2004, the prestigious Robert W. Campbell Award has recognized organizations for leadership and excellence in integrating EHS management into business operations, and fosters the sharing of leading-edge EHS management and best practices worldwide. The Robert W. Campbell Award, the highest of the NSC awards for companies and organizations, is presented each spring at the NSC Safety Summit.

Award applicants are considered based on how their integrated EHS management system led to sustained and enhanced business performance in categories including:
