Based on our membership tier realignment, your membership will deliver even more value for you as we look to the future together. Building on the benefits you know and trust, we’re taking it further. Dues pricing changes will support our transition to a more strategic, personalized model of service, spanning dynamic tools to expert guidance, all aligned to your goals. 

What is changing about my NSC membership?

We’re transitioning from three separate membership models into one streamlined, tiered framework that includes personalized digital tools, tailored benefits and simplified pricing.

Why is NSC making this change?

The membership realignment will provide you with more value, including personalization and clearer, impactful benefits. It aligns your membership to your organization’s safety maturity and goals, helping you grow, benchmark and lead with confidence. It also better prepares NSC to support our members and meet our shared safety mission into the future.

Will my membership still include the benefits I count on now?

Yes, your membership will include all of your current benefits and more, including:

• Access to the members-only NSC Online Community, for convenient connections, collaborations and answers anytime

• Up to 30% discount on products, training, conferences and services

• Local training, workshops, networking and more through your local NSC chapter

• Enhanced networking and benchmarking access (varies by tier)

What are the new membership tiers?

• NSC Membership: Foundational support for compliance- and risk-focused organizations

• NSC Plus: Consultative benefits, policy access and leadership networking

• NSC Enterprise: Full access to research, benchmarking and innovation partnerships

How will my tier be determined?

Tiers are based on a combination of safety maturity, organization size and benefit engagement. You’ll receive tier recommendations before your renewal, and we’re available to discuss your options anytime.

Will my dues change?

Maybe. More than half of our current members will see a decrease in dues. Our remaining members will see a dues increase that will vary by company size and tier. You’ll receive personalized information with time to review it before your renewal date. Your chapter engagement will remain the same.

Are multiyear dues discounts still available?

Yes. For NSC level membership, a 10% discount for a two-year term and a 15% discount for a three-year term will still apply.
