The NSC Safe Driver Awards program is an easy way to encourage driver safety, and most program awards are free of charge as part of the U.S. Postal Services NSC membership.

The Joseph M. Kaplan Safe Driver of The Year nomination period has closed for 2026. Notifications will be sent by email to the nominators, and the winners will be announced in June. Thank you to all who participated.
The nomination period for 2027 will open Jan. 1, and nominations will be accepted through April 30.
