Ann Petersen, professor at Pittsburg State University, has worked previously as an EHS manager in the chemical and plastics industry for over eight years. Before moving to Southwest Missouri, she worked for Fortune 500 companies in the Kansas City area as a project manager for almost 12 years. She has been with PSU for 10 years and teaches classes under the Environmental & Safety Management bachelor’s degree. In order to stay up-to-date and explore industries she has not yet worked in, she works internships during the summers. She has a Master of Science and Education Specialist degree in career and technical education and an EdS in workforce development and education.
