In October, National Safety Council observes National Teen Driver Safety Week. It calls attention to the risks new drivers face behind the wheel and makes sure they have everything needed to stay safe. As an instructor, you play a vital role in educating new drivers and encouraging parents and caregivers to get involved in the process. This year it runs Oct. 19 - 25, and DriveitHOME is providing you with a free National Teen Driver Safety Week instructor guide. This resource helps you prepare for the week, provides materials on crucial teen driving topics, and helps you spread the word to parents and caregivers.
If you have questions or need additional resources, please email [email protected]. Together, we can encourage parents and caregivers to get involved as their teens learn to drive.
All of your free National Teen Driver Safety Week resources can be accessed at nsc.org/NTDSW. Just sign up and select the items you’d like to use, from posters and videos to a social media kit and the latest stats on teen driver safety.
