SafetyServe hosted and managed the digital platform for the delivery of NSC Defensive Driving (DDC) online courses. In the coming weeks, NSC will launch its own platform for online course delivery.
NSC will modernize training using a new learning management system (LMS), rebrand and reimagine learning design and instructional approaches, and appeal to customers with new modalities.

Why is NSC switching to a new LMS?
The new LMS will offer enhanced features, a better user experience, improved performance and more robust support.
When will the transition take place?
The transition will occur within the next few weeks. Specific dates and timelines will be provided to make sure you are well prepared.
Will there be downtime during the transition?
There may be minimal downtime during the actual transition process. We will schedule this during off-peak hours and notify you in advance.
How will I be alerted that this is happening going forward?
You will be contacted as milestone dates in the transition or steps that require your attention approach.
Will my login credentials change?
Yes. You will be provided new credentials and detailed instructions within the next few weeks.
How do I access the new platform?
You will receive a detailed guide on how to log in for the first time once the new platform is available.
What if I have trouble logging in?
If you have any issues logging in, contact the NSC support team for immediate assistance.
Will my data and courses be transferred to the new system?
Your data and courses from the last five years will be migrated to the new system. Extensive measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and accurate transfer.
How will my data be transferred?
NSC will securely handle the data migration process to ensure your information is safely and accurately transferred.
Will data (e.g., learning history) be lost during the transition?
Precautions are being taken to ensure data from the last several years is not lost and all data and training histories will be backed up.
Will there be training provided for the new platform?
Yes, comprehensive training tools and tutorials will be available to help you get accustomed to the new system.

What new features does the new platform offer?

Can I customize the new platform to fit my needs?
Yes, the new platform offers customizable options to tailor the experience to your needs.
There will now be three options for certificates:
● Users can download and print their electronic certificate - view a sample here
● Users' downloadable/printable electronic certificate option can be turned off for your site
● Individual printed paper certificates with void pantograph background are available - view a sample here
Organizations that currently allow students to download/print their certificates upon successful completion will continue to do so.
Organizations that currently have certificates automatically mailed to students upon completion will now need to contact customer service and request the certificate be printed. This will no longer be an automatic process. Please be advised that the certificate print fee is increasing to $12.
Printed certificates will be mailed within two business days of your request. Orders placed after 1 p.m. will be processed the following business day. Please contact customer service at 833-3NSCLRN (833-367-2576) to make your requests. The fees for expedited certs (to be payable by credit card) are as follows:
● Email - $12: Please note that NSC cannot email a certificate that contains personally identifiable information. Also, a faxed copy with print as void to prevent illegal reproduction of certifications.
● Second day air (original certificate) - $35
● Next day air (original certificate) - $50

No additional costs are anticipated. The goal is to provide added value with the new platform without unexpected expenses.
