The NSC Professional Truck Driver Course focuses on the most common causes of truck-related incidents and provides truck drivers with defensive driving strategies to avoid collisions and traffic violations. Train your drivers to manage common driving situations—speed, right-of-way, driving left of center, proper following distance, lane changes and lane markings, safe passing and overtaking, and much more. Watch a video segment from the course.
This vehicle-specific course can be taught in three or four hours, allowing flexibility to select content based on training goals and schedules. Participants will learn how to recognize both potential and immediate hazards and how to avoid collisions in a variety of driving conditions and environments. Participants will be motivated to change their behind-the-wheel behaviors and attitudes by learning the best practice approach to safe and responsible driving.
Become certified to teach Professional Truck Driver through the NSC eLearning Instructor Certification Course.
