Gretchen Coffman is focused on leading the people strategy and influencing the culture of the organization.
Prior to joining NSC, she was HR director at McDonald's Corporation, where she led multiple people initiatives, including "People Pillar" work for the Sustainability framework, leadership development, education, and other HR communications and engagement activities.
While at McDonald's, Ms Coffman also held the role of HR business partner, partnering with leadership teams in various global functions. In this capacity, she engaged with her client groups to maximize effectiveness in the areas of talent and performance management, employee relations and overall people practices. Additionally, she held project manager positions in the human resources and training departments, where she led projects such as English as a second language initiatives and engagement surveys.
Gretchen graduated from Ball State University and serves as a member of the Human Resources Advisory Board, College of Business. She earned a master's degree from Purdue University in health promotion and wellness education, and remains passionate about fitness while teaching group exercise classes and playing competitive tennis.
