Occupational Excellence Achievement Award

The National Safety Council recognizes organizations with injury and illness records better than or equal to 50% of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for their NAICS code.

Criteria include:

● Lost workday case incident rate better than or equal to 50% of the BLS rating for your NAICS code in the past calendar year
● Zero fatalities during previous calendar year
● Based on self-reported data

Qualifying organizations automatically receive one free personalized certificate; additional certificates are available for purchase. Engraved plaques are available for $92.95, and etched crystals are available for $174.95. Qualified applications received prior to May 31, 2024, will be considered for the Industry Leader Award.

Award Rules and Receipt

If your application is approved, your award certificate will be mailed after the deadline for the Industry Leader Award. Your wood framed certificate or engraved plaque will be shipped within 4-6 weeks. The National Safety Council reserves the right to change, without notice, any statement in the Occupational Awards Program concerning, but not limited to, rules, policies, awards, delivery dates/methods, and fees.
