ORLANDO, Florida – Motor vehicle collisions are the leading cause of death in the workplace. Recognizing the severity of this issue, the National Safety Council, America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate, launched the first-ever defensive driver training in 1964 to help prevent injuries and save lives. Today, more than 80 million drivers worldwide have now completed this course and NSC is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Defensive Driver Course Awards.
