ITASCA, Ill. – The National Safety Council, America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate, today announced this year’s recipients of its 2021 Marion Martin Award, presented annually to outstanding female safety professionals. The following safety leaders were honored during the opening session of the 2021 NSC Safety Congress & Expo:
“Rose, Megan and Catriona set the standard for safety leadership and excellence, regardless of gender,” said Lorraine Martin, NSC president and CEO. “I want to sincerely thank and congratulate them for truly going above and beyond throughout their decorated careers to improve workplace safety. Whether at global companies or in government positions, their expertise and guidance has created a safer working environment for thousands of people, ultimately allowing them to live their fullest lives.”
Launched in 2016, the Marion Martin Award annually celebrates the accomplishments of women in safety who have paved the way to success for other women in the profession.
